Peaches and Cream Hot Toddy

This warm, comforting cocktail brings the flavors of the classic summer combo—peaches and cream—into the colder seasons: spiced peach juice is mixed with bourbon and lemon slices for an incredibly comforting cocktail to serve at your next gathering.
Peaches and Cream Hot Toddy

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups peach juice
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup bourbon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg, plus more for topping
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Honey, to taste
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 pod vanilla pod, beans scraped or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Peach slices, for garnishing, optional
Instructions
- Combine the peach juice, lemon slices, bourbon, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to low. Simmer 8 minutes. Taste and adjust the sweetness as needed, by mixing in a bit more honey.
- Whip the cream to soft peaks. Add the vanilla and sugar and whip until incorporated.
- Divide the drink into glasses and serve with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg on top.
