  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or sweetener of choice
  • 1/4 teaspoon xantham gum
  • Salt

Lemon Blueberry

  • 1 1/2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cups blueberries
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Zest and juice of 1 small lemon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or sweetener of choice
  • 1/4 teaspoon xantham gum
  • Salt

Peaches and Cream

  • 3 large peaches, pitted
  • 1 1/2 cups yogurt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or sweetener of choice
  • 1/4 teaspoon xantham gum
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Make the yogurt (using an Instant Pot): pour the milk in the bowl of the InstantPot. Close tightly and press the “Yogurt” button, the boil setting. Once the milk reaches a boil, remove the lid and allow the milk to cool to 95°F (35°C). Add the yogurt to a small bowl. Add a ladle of warm milk to the yogurt and whisk until combined. Add the yogurt mixture to the warm milk and stir to combine. Place the Insant Pot bowl of milk back in the Instant Pot. Close with the lid and press the “Yogurt” button and set it for 12 hours. The next day, the mixture will transform into a silky, glossy yogurt.
  2. Make the drinks: For each homemade yogurt drink, add all the ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth. Store in bottles or jars for up to two days.

You may have seen my work on TV, Food Network, NYT Cooking, Food52 and more. I make recipes more fun and accessible for home cooks. I immigrated to the US from Transylvania, Romania—where I lived most of my life—in 2021 to pursue my passion for cooking full-time. Here you’ll find a collection of approachable recipes, from weeknight dinners to desserts, you’ll come back to over and over again. Some of my most popular recipes include my chicken paprikash, orange chicken roast with fennel and shallots or butter beans all vodka. Some recipes are inspired by my Romanian-Hungarian upbringing, and most definitely all come with that Transylvanian resourcefulness! I love a good thrift, so make sure to catch my thrift hauls every Sunday on my Instagram!
