  • 6-7 small Reed avocados or 3-4 regular Hass avocados (800 grams to 1 kg or 1.6 to 2 pounds of avocados)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • the juice of 2 to 3 limes
  • 1 large red onion
  • 1-2 jalapeños
  • a bunch or coriander (or parsley)

  1. Scoop all the avocados in a bowl, add salt and squeeze the lime juice over them to prevent any oxidation.
  2. Mash the avocados using a potato masher or a fork (or add them to a food processor).

  3. Finely chop the red onion, jalapeños, coriander and add them to the avocado mixture.
  4. Serve the guacamole with some freshly made tortilla chips, grab the recipe by clicking HERE !

I speak 5 languages, but my favorite way to communicate is through the universal language of food. I translate food to be more approachable and accessible for the everyday cook. I didn't grow up with a lot, so I’ve always loved thrifting and finding a good sale. That also shapes my approach to cooking: I try to make most of my recipes as affordable as possible, and that is what my SCRAPS newsletter is about. Every two weeks I will send an exclusive recipe to your inbox. Subscribe to get full access to the newsletter and website.
