AFFOGATO

Affogato might be one of the easiest desserts/coffee drinks you could possibly make, it only requires two ingredients: espresso and ice cream. There something absolutely magical happening once that hot shot of good quality espresso touches the freezing cold ice cream scoop.

INGREDIENTS (1 serving)

  • 1-2 scoops of your ice cream of choice
    • I recommend using richer flavors like vanilla, chocolate or caramel instead of fruity ones
  • 1-2 shots of good quality espresso

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1

Add one to two scoops of ice cream to the serving glass.

Step 2

Pour the freshly made shot(s) of espresso in the glass, right on top of the ice cream. Serve everything using a spoon.
